How have we been learning about British Values?

This term we have focused on introducing British Values to our pupils each week in assembly.

In addition to the learning taking place in classes, each Friday assembly has a section all about British Values, what they mean and how they are relevant to us.

- Friday 9th September - Anne Thorne gave an overview and introduction to British Values
- Friday 16th September - Leanne Thirlby introduced 'The rule of Law'
- Friday 23rd September - Shaughn Lewis unpicked 'Mutual Respect'
- Friday 30th September - Toby Clark put 'Democracy' in action as we voted for House Captains
- Friday 7th October - Ella Leighton introduced 'Indvidual Liberty' and what this means and looks like for our pupils
