I have been Deputy Headteacher at Longcause since September 2021. I started my career in 2004 as a secondary school modern foreign languages teacher, but soon developed an interest in special educational needs.  I was previously a SENDCo in two mainstream secondary schools, one with an autism specialist provision. I am passionate about working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC). I believe in every child having the opportunity to be as independent as they can in their adult life. I am responsible for leading on Teaching and Learning across the whole school.
