I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of Longcause Community Special School, having worked at the school for over 12 years in a range of teaching and leadership roles.

I am passionate about ensuring that every pupil is given the very best opportunities to learn, develop and prepare for life beyond school. I believe that all pupils deserve an ambitious, meaningful and engaging education that recognises their individual strengths, interests and needs.

My greatest priority is ensuring that our pupils are supported by skilled, knowledgeable and passionate staff who understand them well, have high expectations and are committed to helping them achieve their full potential. Communication, literacy and personal development remain particular passions of mine.

Outside of school, I am married and have two children. I understand how important it is for families to know that their children are safe, happy, understood and valued at school. This helps to shape my commitment to working closely with our families and ensuring that every decision we make keeps our pupils at its heart.

It is a privilege to lead such a dedicated school community, and I am committed to working in partnership with pupils, families, staff, governors and professionals to ensure that Longcause continues to be a happy, safe and aspirational place where every pupil can thrive.
