I joined Longcause School in January 2018 after teaching in a mainstream setting for two years and having a particular passion for supporting pupils with autism. I have taught both primary and secondary at Longcause. During my time here, our school structure has evolved and I have enjoyed contributing to our curriculum development over the years. I have led the history curriculum, Makaton development across the school and I am currently the English lead. 

Over the last few years, I have become the ECT mentor for Longcause and have mentored many of our newly qualified teachers, some of whom are now subject leaders within our school. I have also taken an active role in supporting our unqualified teachers and more experienced teachers too hrough coaching and mentoring. 

I am passionate about all children having access to the highest quality education and love working with our amazing colleagues to continually develop their expertise and the provision on offer for our pupils.
