Family Support Adviser - Theresa Baldry-Lee
I have been the Family Support Adviser in School since 2007. I am the mum of a young man with Autism so I can understand some of the things you go through!!
My role within School is to be there to support and advise Families in confidence. This can be whatever you feel will be beneficial to you, including:
- Finding out any information that you feel would be helpful to you e.g. Training (computer courses etc) "Where to go to next" "What if...?"
- Accessing Services
- Support with paperwork
- Attending meetings with you e.g. Housing issues, CAMHS appointments
- To be a listening ear when you need some-one to "just off-load" to
